Super Rev. Transcriptase MuLV KIT (Super RT 50 Rxns KIT)

Murine Leukemia Virus Reverse Transcriptase (MuLV RT) is an RNA-dependent DNA polymerase that can be used in cDNA synthesis with long messenger RNA templates (>5 Kbp). The enzyme is isolated from E.coli expressing the modified pol gene of MuLV on a plasmid. This modified version of RT is thermotolerant (working temp 42 – 52⁰C using ng level of total RNA). The RNase H activity of MuLV RT is weaker than the commonly used AMV- Reverse Transcriptase.

• Super RT (200 U/µl) , 100 µl
• 5x RT Buffer (250 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.4; 375 mM KCl; 15 mM MgCl2), 400 µl
• dNTP mix (10mM), 50 µl
• Oligo (dT) mix (500 µg/ml), 50 µl
• Random Hexamer (50 ng/ul), 50 ul
• 0.1 M DTT, 100 µl
• Murine RNase Inhibitor (1 U/µl), 50 µl
• DEPC H2O, 600 µl

Storage Buffer: 20mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 100mM NaCl, 0.1mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 50% glycerol (v/v).
